Day 18- Candle Circle

Holiss (Hola but in a cute way)

Es Ammie y Dani. This trip truly has been a blessing and truly one of the most memorable trips for us.

Today we started our morning with a delicious breakfast and a coffee on the house.  Although we left our homestay being at the beach in these rooms with our friends and reminiscing memories with our homestays. Afterwards we then took a quick stop to the market where we picked up snacks for the day, it’s been fun being able to try new snacks and rebuy our favorite snacks. We got back in the van ready for a great walk at a national park! This national park connected the beach to the forest. We walked around and admired the beauty of the clear turquoise water. We turned to the hotel and we all voted to go back to the beach we went yesterday! After we enjoyed the waves and sand, we went back to the hotel to get ready to grab some lunch and do some shopping, seriously living la vida loca. We heard some tunes and headed to lunch and got last minute souvenirs at Puerto Viejo. The view was incredible, we had a great time walking with our groups. We then came back to our rooms to finish up our reflections. You know we had so much to write about the impact of this trip when we had to expand our reflection writing to two days. We then finished up and headed to dinner where we were served different plates, seriously will never get over the rice and beans here. Era delicioso enserio!(it was delicious seriously) we then came back to our rooms and started our candle circle where Randall showed us posters from the beginning of the trip. Our goals, fears , and values which we crossed out what we accomplished. We then  all shared our rock, leaf, and stick (what rocked about this trip), (what we would leave on this trip), and what would (stick with us on this trip) after many responses and tears we ended the candle circle by blowing out an actual candle and said “Pura Vida.” When we were done Ammie came up with a great idea to do a Compliment circle! What a way to end the night!  See you guys soon familia, don’t forget to pick us up. 😊✌🏼 Adios, las chicas.
